English to latin , the name mathew in latin?
Mat(t)hew = Mattheus

Nolite iudicare, ut non iudicemini = Judge not, that you be not judged. That's from the Book of Matthew, Chapter 7, Verse 1.

Rain = pluvia. That's the most common Latin word for 'rain'.
Reply:As to the name Mathew it translates into Latin as Matthaeus.

Remember all the Latin words must be written in block capitals hence is MATTHAEUS or MBL for initials.

Initials are the same in Latin as in English...!!

EDIT - The word rain is in Latin "aqua" (same as water) but if you want to make an inscription, a tattoo, etc. this must be written in capital = AQUA and even more correctly AQVA since classic Latin hadn't the U letter - Same as above if you want to write the name as Romans were doing you should write MATTHAEVS.-
Reply:why do you want it done in latin if you dont even know latin???

that's ridiculous

have it done in english. because you're just going to have to read it to everyone!
Reply:A little off the topic but that quote is not exactly from Matthew. It's from Jerome's translation of Matthew. The original, in Greek is "me krinete hina me krithete". Sorry answers doesn't seem to support greek fonts.
