Does anyone know what the name Hudson is in Latin?

I'm making a list of my friends' names in Latin, but I can't find Hudson anywhere. Does anyone know? I'll be glad for anything...as long as it's correct!

Does anyone know what the name Hudson is in Latin?
You can usually latinize a last name by adding the suffix -us or -ius to the end if it is masculine and the suffix -a or -ia to the end if it is feminine. For example, the famous Swedish botanist Carolus Linnaeus (1707 - 1778) latinized his name from 'Karl Von Linne'. Sir Isaac Newton has inscribed on his tomb the name "Isaacus Newtonius."

Thus, you could latinize a name like John Hudson or Robert Hudson to Johannis Hudsonius and Robertus Hudsonius. A name like Joan or Jane Hudson would be Johanna Hudsonia since it is feminine.

Hope that helps
