What is the latin name for bacterial meningitis?

The name for the (usual) causative bacterium is neisseria meningitidis. Streptococcus Pneumoniae may be the infectant in children and babies.

What is the latin name for bacterial meningitis?
Meningitis Infectiosa? (I seem to remember that). ]


That's the disease - "Neisseria" is the actual germ itself.
