yeah or like names that dont end in a, im a little confused, and any help would be wonderful and appreciated =]
How do i write the name kristen in latin?
Kristen in Latin is "Christiana" which means "Christ follower".
In German was translated as "Kristen" and besides Germany the world adopted it as such.
-(From Latin the name "Christiana" also developed the following names: Kristin, Krysten, Kristan, Khristin, Kriston, Kristyn, Krysten, Krystin, Krystn, Krystyn, and of course "The Orignal One", yours: Kristen.)-
Reply:Kristen.....=] silly
Reply:Well, Kristen comes from Christian, which is rendered "Christianus" in Latin.
But I would have to conclude that if you were to go back in time to ancient Rome, your name would probably be spelled either "Christen" or "Christin" by the locals, regardless of it's actual etymology.
Don't worry Kristen. There are no silly questions, only silly people. Like whoever gave me that thumbs-down.
