I'm just wondering cause my boyfriend is from Mexico %26amp; his last name is Manilla.What does Manila mean??

Well, your boyfriend might have Philippine(驴Philippian?) ancestors. The reason why I'm led to believe this, is because Manila was colonized by Spain, as was Mexico. So during that period, there were some Philippinians who arrived at the port of Acapulco.

Manila doesn't seem to be a word in spanish (unless it's a regional South American slang word), but there's an important city in South Americ called that.
